beach day.

Marshall was admitted to the hospital last Monday so the Sunday before, we spent the day at Galveston Beach. The cold lifted long enough for us to enjoy some sweet time together outside before he was stuck in the hospital room for a month.

We love Galveston because it doesn't feel as commercialized as many of the beaches we are used to in Florida and it has a historic backdrop. There are some chains and beach shops targeted at tourists but, there are also tons of little local places to explore.
